See Turkey For Less: Sightseeing, Dining, Shopping In Turkey On A Budget
About
Most travel books frustrate me. Many are written on major city destinations like London, Paris and Rome. Don’t you wish there were more travel guides on off-the-beaten-path destinations that are more historical, less crowded, less expensive and more gratifying for sightseeing and for an authentic experience? Don’t you wish these destinations were available outside of expensive “expeditions” and “specialty cruises?”
My book series will make these rich attractions affordable to you by proviidng you with tips on when to go, where to go and what preparations to do to obtain the best prices on airfares, acccommodations, dining and shopping in any given tourist attraction in the world. I will share my experience and knowledge from traveling the world in the last 50 years to choose exotic destinations:
- with favorable currency exchange rates to yours (usually in U.S. dollars) ;
- their off-season periods of the year to benefit from wide-ranging discounts;
- customs, practises and common phrases used in their language that may help prepare you in your interactions with them and improve your authentic experience.
The first book of the series is on Turkey. It will educate you with essential preparations, provide cheat sheets of popular phrases to help you ask directions as well as to bargain for discounts. My research identified local hotels and tour companies that are not part of international chains. They are money-saving options for you. If you enjoyed this first book, then let me know by emailing me at dvarealtors1987@gmail.com. I can learn a lot from you for my next book. You can also send me your email so I can update you with what country I found that fits our bill, and I’m writing on it for your next adventure.
